Elantra (2003)

The H260 factory stereo in the Hyundai Elantra has a CD changer port, but as of this time it appears that nobody has developed a commercial protocol changer to allow using the port as an AUX input. I found one person who claims to have figured out the protocol and built a working protocol changer using a PIC chip, but my attempt to build the circuit failed. (I would post a link, but I fear that he might not want to be deluged by requests.)

For this reason, I upgraded the factory head-unit in my car. Good instructions for upgrading the factory stereo in your Hyunai Elantra can be found at the "Drivers and Believers, Elantra GT Garage" website.
